Matthew Skouras is a classically trained trumpeter, recording engineer, and music educator. He currently teaches Music Technology and directs the Symphonic Band at Bergenfield High School. Prior to teaching in Bergenfield, Matthew was the recording engineer for the John J. Cali School of Music.
He holds a Bachelor’s of Music in Music Education and Master of Arts in Music Theory and Composition with a focus on Music Production and Technology from Montclair State University where he studied with Chuck Bumcrot, Donald Batchelder, VJ Manzo, Ethan Hein, and Chris Opperman. Matt is affiliated with Phi Mu Alpha, NAfME, TI:ME, and the NBA.
